Words for the day!

In football, they have the great tool of being able to review the play and having a chance to decipher or correct our first impression of it-so that if we made the wrong call to begin with, we get a second chance. If we only had that same device when we speak. Sometimes in life, we say things without thinking about them first. And they just come out and it's too late to take them back. They have an immediate impact and even if we try to change and correct what we say, it's still too late because those first words still ring in the other person's ears. I have learned that lesson the hard way in this life, but I am working on thinking about what I say before I say it, more and more all the time. It is paying off! I don't have half the regret and guilt in my life now that I used to. Something to think about:)
